John 4;34,36 "Then Jesus explained, 'My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing His work...The harvesters are paid good wages and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!'"
At some point in the Christians life we all ask the question, "What is God's will for my life?" Jesus explained it as doing something. As we continue to read on in John He talks about the harvest. Those who plant, those who harvest. Doing the will of God is both these things. For each Christian, they may concentrate on one thing more than the other. But Jesus said they are both necessary. Doing the next right thing, whether planting or harvesting as Jesus did where ever He went, is all that is required to knowing and doing the will of God.
